The Pioneers · Feb–May 2026

Two minutes a week. Nothing else.

37 people read two chapters of an unfinished book and checked in for two minutes a week. No coaching, no course, no programme. This is exactly what moved, and exactly what didn't.

42 signed up. 37 checked in at least twice. 29 kept going past week five. 11 did every week for two months.

All 37, no one left out

Twenty-six went up. Eleven went down. Here is everyone.

Median change +4 points. Twenty-six improved, eleven finished lower. That is what a real result looks like: not a tidy curve, a spread with the middle moving the right way.

Where you start matters

Start below 60 and it moved you nine points.

+9.3 average change for the 11 who started under 60
−0.8 average change for those who started at 70 or above

Out of 100. Same tool, same two minutes. People already at 70+ mostly stayed there. People who started under 60 gained nine points on average, and seven of the eleven finished above it. If your team survey says “fine”, this is the group it is talking about.

Awareness alone moved the number. Sticking with it almost doubled it.

11 of the 37 finished lower than they started. That is in the book too — a number you can trust beats a number that flatters. Not a clinical study.

Method: 37 Pioneers, 238 check-ins, February–April 2026. Each person is compared against themselves only, first check-in against last. For the 11, week one against week eight. Percentages are relative to where each group started. Not a clinical study; the book says the same.

58% of every focus pick was a Be area

Physical health started lowest (5.6 out of 10) and was the thing people chose to work on most. Spirit, play & fun moved most (+13%). Romantic relationships moved least (+2%) — two minutes a week doesn't fix that, and nobody pretends it does.

For teams

This is the before-and-after your team gets.

Every workshop starts with the same two-minute Snapshot and, if you run the journey, ends with the team's own version of this page — a pattern, never an individual's score.
